Description
The Prolex™ Strep Enzyme Kit incorporates lytic enzymes and a 10-minute incubation to release the group-specific carbohydrate antigens required for the Lancefield Grouping of beta-hemolytic streptococci belonging to groups A-G. These extracts can be easily grouped using blue carboxylated polystyrene particles sensitized to each Lancefield group.
