Vena cava filter FT+

The FT+ filter is a temporary and atraumatic vena cava filter designed for short-term applications (usually 1 to 3 days) in patients with pulmonary embolism with persistent venous clots. The FILTRETHERY+, or "FT+" differs from the first generation FILTRETHERY or "FT" mainly by the arrangement of an internal lumen which allows the assembly of the FT+ filter on a guidewire without requiring the prior placement of the filter holder catheter alone . This lumen also allows the passage of a micro-catheter with an external diameter of 3 F. The FT+ filter uses the same filtering mechanism as that described in numerous studies.
