The Q-Plex Human Malaria Array (5-plex) is a robust and fully quantitative chemiluminescent assay for the concurrent surveillance of four malaria biomarkers. The assay simultaneously measures HRP2, LDH-Pan, LDH-Pv, LDH-Pf, and one host biomarker, CRP. The monitoring of subclinical Malaria infections and prevalence of HRP2-deletions is achieved by the coupling of the most sensitive commercially available HPR2 assay with LDH detection. Validated protocols for whole blood, plasma, and serum samples are in place, with protocols for dry blood spots in development.
Each kit, manufactured in our ISO13485 registered facility, contains a 96-well plate and all other reagents necessary to perform the assay. The individual wells of the plate are precisely and reproducibly arrayed with each of the five biomarkers for accurate results.
In 3.5 hours, each kit will report quantities of 80 samples for the four Malaria biomarkers and one host biomarker CRP. This is achieved while only using 15 μL of sample. The Q-Plex Malaria kit is a result of Quansys’ commitment to support ongoing efforts to eradicate Malaria in developing countries.
Product Documentation
All Quansys Q-Plex™ Multiplex and Singleplex assays require the use of the Q-View™ software to read and interpret the test results. A fully-functional, free trial version of the software is available to download, install, and use to analyze your first kit(s). At the end of the trial period, a purchased license is required to continue the use of the Q-View software.
Q-Plex arrays are developed and optimized to work with Q-View imagers. Quansys does not guarantee the results obtained from other imagers
