THE HYBRID Surgical DUAL WAVELENGTH LASER
Opera EVO represents a hybrid laser with dual wavelength (1.9 µm and 1.5µm) in one device, dedicated to both surgery and minimally invasive surgery, involving incision, resection, ablation, and coagulation of soft tissues in many medical specialties.
Both, 1.5 µm and 1.9 µm wavelengths are highly absorbed by water (highly presented in tissues), resulting in a good ability to cut soft tissues during the procedure, and in a effective hemostasis. The laser emission is delived by means of flexible optical fibers, available in a wide range of different diameters (from 200 up to 1000µm) allows to perform endoscopic, laparoscopic and open laser surgery.
The 1.9µm emission provides precise cutting and an ablation action, with limited depth of penetration (0.1-0.2 mm), which spares the surrounding tissues.
The 1.5µm wavelength results in a deeper effect, while still offering a good cutting and ablation performance. The two wavelengths can be used either independently or blended to reach the desired effect.
Thanks to its features, Opera Evo is extremely versatile. In addition to this, the compact design allows to move and store it easily, making it suitable for its use also in ambulatory setting.
The double footswitch allows immediate switching between the preset emission modes which can be fully customized and individually matched to the dual pedal.
