Cyber TM represents the Thulium laser family with the highest power on the market (150W e 200W) dedicated to BPH and urology treatments, together with other soft tissue surgery in many other medical specialties. Its 2 μm radiation is strongly absorbed by water (highly presented in all tissues), making its cutting and vaporization speed almost constant during the procedure regardless of tissue vascularization and resulting in minimal depth of penetration (0.1-0.2 mm). Thulium enucleation technique is not size-dependent, it is highly customizable and thanks to the double footswitch it is possible to switch quickly from cutting to coagulation effect. Thulium vaporization is also an easy and intuitive procedure, obviating the use of morcellator, taking advantage of the maximum power of this device for faster treatments. Alternatively, vaporesection technique can be effectively performed to skip the morcellation phase.
