Wheeliy 2.0, a wheelchair that supports not only the user, but also those who support them and helps them to go out and about with ease, has been jointly developed with Molten.
Wheeliy 2.0 is a wheelchair that further evolves the concept of the previous model (Wheeliy) of achieving unrestricted mobility in society. Lightweight in the 8 kg range, the new model has excellent mobility and reduces the burden of folding and carrying. The color guide in the body of the wheelchair allows even those unfamiliar with wheelchairs to operate it intuitively, and the design makes it easier for others to support the user.
quantum was in charge of concept making, industrial design, CMF design, and prototype production.
By using magnesium for the main frame and carbon fiber for the wheels, we were able to achieve a weight in the 8kg range, which is a significant weight reduction compared to previous model.
The design features improved usability, such as armrests that function as brakes when pushed down with the arms, and footrests that can be lifted up with a single action.
The yellow signs are retained from the previous model, making it easy for those supporting the wheelchair user to intuitively provide support, such as knowing where to hold the wheelchair for lifting it stably and where to pull it up for folding the wheelchair.
Available in 4 colors: Coal black / Mist white / Sand pink / Ice blue. The frame color is designed to fit in with daily life because it is used every day both in and outdoors. The simple frame structure makes it easy to wipe off any dirt for daily maintenance.
