This Phantom tester is used with a design that is open for many segments and can be easily treated as the sensor may be removed after the test is done. This is made with a universal design where a sensor slot is used to take in all sorts of intra-oral sensors. This uses a line pair test with a 45 degree arrangement and a filtration setup. There are digital storage screen slots and digital sensors for use plus low-contrast test objects to make it all work. The devices to use for the x-ray field, low contrast rating, image receiver dose and homogeneity tests are also useful.
