Compact Precision Survey Meter
The QUART didoSVM is designed to detect beta, gamma and x-ray sources of very low intensity. It features an excellent energy response to measure radiation dose and dose rate in the energy range of 15keV – 10 MeV (conservatively rated).
The didoSVM detects leakage and scatter radiation around diagnostic x-ray equipment as well as in radiation therapy and nuclear medicine facilities. The meter features light weight radiation detector and base unit. Both components do not weigh more than 500 grams (17.6 oz) combined.
The meter automatically sets the measuring range, no user interaction is required. The detection of low signals against background noise works very well so that detection of leakage, scatter beams and pinholes is possible. The dynamics of the unit are ultra-wide. The didoSVM covers a measuring range between 0.1μSv/hr to 1 Sv/hr (conservatively rated).
