Stop Solution contains 15 vials (6 mL/vial) of 2N sulfuric acid for the stopping the action of horseradish peroxidase on the tetramethylbenzidine substrate in an ELISA. PROCEDURE Add 50-100 µL/well to stop the action of horseradish peroxidase on the substrate, tetramethylbenzidine. If the color in the wells is green or the color change does not appear to be uniform, gently tap the plate to ensure thorough mixing. TECHNICAL HINTS & LIMITATIONS OF THE PROCEDURE Caution: Wear protective gloves, clothing, and eye and face protection. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
