The MULTIDEC alternating pressure anti-decubitus mattress provides alternating pressure relief combined with Easy Turn Technology, moisture management and other solutions for a wide patient management issues. It is recommended for round-the-clock pressure ulcer prevention and management of all pressure ulcer stages. The pump can operate in pressure alternating, static, CLP – constant low pressure or full inflation mode. The system has the Easy Turn Technology function, i.e. lateral tilts and continuous patient rotation (one- or two-sided) manually activated. The mattress is made of transverse removable cells. MULTIDEC can be an overlay or mattress replacement. The lower part of mattress is equipped with a pocket into which the layer of foam* can be inserted and the overlay can be easily changed into a replacement. *The foam layer is not a part of a set and have to be purchase separately. DETAILS: MULTI-MODE OPERATION Dual compressor pump can operate in four different modes: ALTERNATING – periodically redistributes pressure by alternately inflating and deflating cells beneath the patient STATIC – pressure inside the mattress is equalised to redistribute the body weight over a greater surface area CLP – CONTINOUS LOW PRESSURE MODE – the pressure inside the mattress remains at a constant set level reduced by 50% compared to the set. The pump runs in CLP mode continuously until another mode is selected.
