Used in procedures where uterine manipulation is required and/or to inject contrast fluids (such as diagnostic laparoscopy, fertility examinations, etc.).
It is characterised by a curved shape that facilitates insertion.
Equipped with:
a two-lumen internal catheter with a measuring scale from 4 to 10 cm (1 cm resolution)* to determine the correct insertion depth;
a rigid handle;
a simple and secure locking system that prevents accidental movements during the procedure;
a 10 ml, 20 mm diameter PVC balloon housed at the tip of the catheter to minimise the possibility of accidental perforation and prevent reflux of the contrast medium;
a one-way valve to inflate the balloon, assembled to a reference balloon that allows visualisation of the actual condition of the internal balloon;
a luer lock connection for contrast medium injection.
