The ethylene oxide sterilization process includes pretreatment (heating, humidification, pre-vacuuming)-dosing-sterilization-cleaning-analysis (residue removal).
Heating and humidification can be carried out in the ethylene oxide sterilizer, or a preheating chamber can be configured separately, and heating and humidification can be carried out in the preheating chamber. When the temperature and humidity of the product meet the requirements, it can be transferred to the sterilizer.
Analysis (residue removal) can be carried out in the ethylene oxide sterilizer, or it can be transferred to a dedicated analysis room to release the ethylene oxide residue in the sterilized items and meet the product residue standards, such as the residual requirement of ≤10μg/g after ethylene oxide sterilization of masks.
