Description
A waste gas interface device must be used to reduce negative pressure (vacuum) if you are using a central medical suction system as a gas scavenger system. A common used system is for example the „AGFS System“ from Dräger Germany.
Anesthesia performed with a mask system or induction chambers connected to a gas scavenger system are sometimes very difficult to perform.
The purpose of the Waste Gas Regulator is to control or “balance” the negative pressure that is present in the active evacuation systems with the flow of waste anesthetic gases from the anesthesia machine.
