Lateral Hip Leg Support
The Lateral Hip Leg Support is designed by qualified radiographers to raise and angle the unaffected limb comfortably in a 45° position, giving unobstructed access from the hip to the patella, reducing superimposition of thigh soft tissue on the neck of the femur. The device can be placed on an imaging table, bed or trolley and positioned close to the patients hip so that it can support a limb in flexion. Providing unimpeded cross-table lateral x-rays able to be taken without the need for another tech to be a “holder”.
