This mattress is encased in a completely sealed welded cover for infection control purposes. The mattress is radiolucent, has negligible attenuation and is generally artefact free. It provides good support and pressure relief for the patient. The mattress cover is available in a variety of colours, which prolongs the life of the mattress, and is easy to clean.
