TA Big Dye Clean Up Kit uses gel filtration technology to remove terminator dyes for sequence analysis with spin columns. Sequence reactions are loaded into the filtration material after transfer of the hydrated gel to the spin column. After a short centrifugation step, the reactions are ready to be loaded into a capillary column. Non-entrapment dye spots are retained in the gel matrix. RTA Big Dye Clean Up Kit removes any dye spot from 10-50 μl sequencing reactions, including terminator dyes. After the cleaning process, sorting reactions can be separated by any capillary sequence. RTA Big Dye Cleaning Kit is optimized for quick and easy dye spot removal, resulting in high quality sequencing results. On the contrary, cleaning the sorting reaction with ethanol precipitation is very time consuming and inefficient.
