Grating-Monochromator Microplate reading spectrophotometer SAFAS Xenius XMA: accuracy and evolutivity SAFAS XMA is a grating-monochromator microplate reader spectrophotometer. Featuring a very high sensitivity, thanks to its 100% AIR technology (NO FIBER OPTICS!) and superb optics, it is not only able to select accurately the wavelengths without any additional filter, but also to achieve spectra scans. It is evolutive, and can be fitted later with a second monochromator for fluorescence, with automatic polarizers for fluorescence anisotropy, fiber optics for external measurements, bioluminescence, automatic injectors, etc. SAFAS XENIUS XM : Exceptional performances on microplates The SAFAS Xenius XMA is a grating monochromator spectrophotometer, which profits by the unique experience of SAFAS, which introduced in 1958 the world’s first grating UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and is highly reputed for its outstanding optical quality, experience and performance. It is based on highly innovative technologies and superb optics, as well as 100% AIR TECHNOLOGY (no fiber optics!), so as it enables to reach excellent accuracy levels. It can draw spectra in your wells, as well as in cuvettes (option), with a scan speed up to 7000nm/minute and many data-processing functions. Many options are available SAFAS Xenius XMA can also receive cuvettes (option), achieve kinetics on 10 cuvettes and at up to 10 wavelengths, or achieve HPLC studies. It can also achieve Absorbance and Luminescence measurements, including spectra, and severa specialized software can be used (intracellular calcium, follow-up of series of samples, etc...).
