The SMV syringe quickly converts into a blood tube following collection, which means that you save time & money and you don’t have to worry about sample loss. Adapter system comes with common tips or permits use of the needle of your choice. Pierceable septum limits exposure to the sample, while ensuring that a "fresh" vacuum is always available. Screw off top means that there is no vacuum plug to pry out of the tube, and no exposure to sample aerosolization. Plasma or Serum are easily pipetted following quick removal of the screw cap.
