The FOB test (Faecal Occult Blood Test) is a rapid test of blood in the stool. The FOB test measures the condition of the gastrointestinal tract by detecting haemoglobin in the blood of a stool sample. The test is suitable for detecting intestinal bleeding and helps, for example, in diagnosing colorectal cancer.
