Description

Sintered stainless steel FIBER filters T.S. Absolute provide a high-throughput filtration and a capturing capability of particles down to 0.2 um diameter. The suitable applications include polymer filtration, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and light scattering detection (LSD) among many. The filter is made of fibers kept uniform in diameter, resulting at a minimized deviation on the pore size. The sintered fiber filter has a 90 % void ratio, enabling a faster filtration at a lower fluid resistance. Filter element in form of sheet is as thin as 50 um thickness, enabling inner volume minuscule. Durable in use at 200 degree C. Applicable with gas as well as liquid. Running cost can be saved, especially in-line-filters, by replacing filter element only with new one. Application examples: Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC), Light Scattering Detection (LSD), and Polymer filtration. PTFE paper type filters are suitable for ion chromatography, bio science, semiconductor production, and others where metal ion should be avoided. The flat filters stay at bottom of chamber, filtering micro volume or the last volume of precious solven
