This is the KX5600v ultrasound machine, with convex probe already included in the price. You do not need to purchase the probe separately. If you are scanning small animals and can afford to upgrade to the microconvex probe, this will deliver even higher resolution imaging.
For most goats and large dogs, we recommend sticking with the convex probe. For small-medium sized dogs and Nigerian Dwarf goats, we recommend the microconvex probe. A 6.5MHz linear rectal probe is available for bovine and equine reproductive scanning. The additional $300 charged for the microconvex or linear rectal options is to switch your convex probe to one of these more expensive probe types, not to add a second probe. If you would like to add more than one probe to your scanner configuration, please first add your ultrasound machine to your cart with the probe of your choice, and then add additional probes here.
