Cryoinstant® is a simple method to preserve microorganisms, which offers many advantages in repetitive culture, avoiding contamination, loss of viability and even loss of their original characteristics due to biochemical and genetic changes. The system consists of a vial containing 25 colored plastic beads within a cryopreservative solution. Cryoinstant® allows the storage of 25 identical cultures in a single vial. A large number of strains can be stored in a limited space inside the freezer. The individual beads placed on the plate or inside the tube allow the microorganisms adhered to them to be recovered.
