SL5000 Paraffin Wax Dispenser presents multiple advantages for the routine pathology laboratory. It serves to avoid the complicated and time-consuming melting of paraffin using Bunsen burners, ovens or pots and helps saving space in the laboratory. SL5000 allows melting and keeping in temperature 4 liter of paraffin at thermostatically controlled temperature. Its melting system, rapid and constant, prevents any harmful thermal shocks to the molecular structure of paraffin. In this way paraffin maintains its features for long time. SL5000 adjust temperature easily by simply turning the analog dial. Molten paraffin is dispensed through a non-drip, heated tap. Separate tap heater ensures an even flow of paraffin wax. Dispenser tap controls paraffin wax delivery and can be locked in the open position if required. SL5000 paraffin wax container as well as its lid are made of corrosion resistance black Teflon-coated aluminum. The white powder-coated aluminum exterior casing is easy to clean and aluminum paraffin wax reservoir is for good thermal conductivity and improved temperature control. Reservoir filter screen prevents coarse particles from blocking the nozzle tap. Safety features include an amber neon light alerting you when heater is on, as well as automatic shut-off.
