Hydrochloric Acid, HCl, 1% v/v
Each day after use the tubing for seed solution and dilution water must be rinsed with 1% HCl followed by a MQ water rinse. This procedure prevents bacterial growth in the tubing.
Use 500 ml of solution for every rinse.
