SCREEN IFA TEST TROPONINA I
Fluorescence Immunoassay Troponin I
REF: SC-1590-20
Rapid test for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction (MI) to detect cardiac Troponin I (cTnl) in whole blood, serum or plasma with the use of the Screen® Immunofluorescence Analyzer. The Cardiac Troponin I Cassette Test (Whole Blood / Serum / Plasma) identifies cardiac Troponin I (cTnl) through immunofluorescence. The sample moves across the strip from the sample pad to the absorbent pad. If the sample contains cTnl, it attaches to anti-cTnl antibodies conjugated with fluorescent beads. Then the compound is captured by the capture antibodies that cover the nitrocellulose membrane (Test line). The concentration of cTnl in the sample is directly related to the intensity of the fluorescent signal captured on the T-line. Depending on the fluorescence intensity of the test and the standard curve of the product, the concentration of cTnl in the sample can be calculated by the Screen® Reader for indicate the concentration of cTnl in the sample. Cardiac Troponin I (cTnl) is a protein found in heart muscle with a molecular weight of 22.5 kDa [1]. Troponin I is part of a three-subunit complex comprising Troponin T and Troponin C.
