SCREENVET DIARREA BOVINA
Bovine viral diarrhoea Test
REF: SCV-1712-10
The BVDV Antibody Rapid Cassette Test (Serum/Plasma) is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of the Bovine Viral Diarrhea virus antibody in bovine serum or plasma. The rapid cassette test for the BVDV Antibody (Serum/Plasma) is a qualitative immunoassay on membranes with a double antigen system for the detection of BVDV antibody in serum or plasma. The membrane is coated with recombinant BVDV antigen. During the test, the BVDV antibody, if present in the serum or plasma sample, reacts with the gold-colloidal particles of the recombinant BVDV antigen on the membrane of the test line area. If the sample contains Bovine Diarrhea Virus antibody, a colored line will appear in the test line area, indicating a positive result. If the sample does not contain the Bovine Diarrhea Virus antibody, a colored line will not appear in the test line area, indicating a negative result. As a procedural control, a colored line will always appear in the control line region, indicating that an adequate volume of sample has been used and that the membrane has soaked properly.
