REF: SCV-1743-10
The Rapid Cassette Test for Foot and Mouth Disease Virus Non-Structural Protein Antibody (Serum/Plasma) is a lateral scrolling immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of infected FMDV antibodies in pig or bovine serum or plasma. It is used to monitor the level of FMD NSP antibody and evaluate the infectious state of the animal. The FMD NSP Antibody Rapid Cassette Test is based on a sandwich side scrolling immunochromatographic test. The test cassette has a window for observing the test and reading the result. The analysis window is equipped with an invisible area of the T line (test) and one of the C line (control). When the sample is poured into the sample well on the cassette, the liquid flows sideways over the surface of the test strip and reacts with the FMD NSP antigens that coat it. If the sample contains anti-FMD NSP antibodies, a visible T line appears in the T area. The C line must always appear after adding the sample, confirming the validity of the result.
