SCREENVET CDV + CPV AG
Canine Distemper Virus + Canine Parvovirus Ag Combined
REF: SCV-1934-10
CDV + CPV Antigen Combo Rapid Test Cassette (Secretions + Feces/Vomiting) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of canine distemper virus (CDV Ag) in nasal/ocular secretions of dogs and canine parvovirus (CPV Ag) in dogs dog’s stool or vomit. CDV + CPV Antigen Combo Rapid Test Cassette is a qualitative lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the detection of canine distemper virus (CDV) and canine parvovirus (CPV) antigens. The test cassette has two test windows. Each test window has the T region (test) and the C region (control). During testing, the sample is applied to the sample wells on the cassette. CDV or CPV antigens, if present in the specimen, a colored line will appear in the test line area indicating a positive result. If the sample does not contain CDV or CPV antigens, a colored line will not appear in the test line area indicating a negative result. To serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always appear in the control line region indicating that an adequate volume of sample has been added and that membrane transpiration has occurred.
