Description

SCREENVET DIROFILARIA AG Canine Heartworm Ag Test REF: SCV-1095-10 ScreenVet CHW antigen rapid cassette test (whole blood/serum/plasma) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic test using the direct (or sandwich) method for the qualitative detection of canine heartworm antigen (CHW Ag) in whole blood, serum or plasma. CHW Antigen Rapid Cassette Test (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay using the direct (or Sandwich) method for the qualitative detection of canine heartworm antigen (CHW Ag) in whole blood, serum or canine plasma. CHW Antigen Cassette Rapid Test Cassette is based on lateral flow immunochromatographic assay using the direct (or Sandwich) method. The cassette has a Test window. The window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When the sample is applied to the well (S) on the cassette, the liquid flows sideways over the surface of the test strip. If there is a detectable amount of canine heartworm antigen in the specimen, a T line appears near the T (test) zone. Line C should always appear after the sample has been poured, indicating that the result is valid. In this way the cassette can accurately indicate the presence of canine heartworm antigen in the sample.
