ScriptPro's SP Central Workflow System complements our robotic dispensing technology by coordinating the entire pharmacy workflow. SP Central identifies and batches all prescriptions for every patient to ensure proper medication delivery. SP Central works with the existing pharmacy computer system and utilizes barcode scanning controls to ensure prescription accuracy. This advanced workflow technology directs the dispensing process from point of entry to patient delivery. All prescriptions, whether filled manually or robotically, are dispensed with the correct medication by: Requiring a scan of the barcode on the manufacturer package for positive identification before it is introduced into the filling process. Displaying electronic images of the required drug for comparison during filling and verification. Maintaining an electronic record of the chain of responsibility that includes: (i) the person who filled the prescription, (ii) the person who verified the prescription, and (iii) the person who physically transferred the drug to the patient.
