The assembly consists of two rings connected by 6 adjustable struts, a concept based on the Gough-Stewart Platform. Software The Quartz Hexapod System can be used in conjunction with online software for surgical planning and treatment prescription for the patient. The software has an intuitive interface, where the surgeon enters parameters of the bone deformity, fixator installation, and desired treatment outcomes, generating a treatment prescription table for the patient.
