Characteristics:
Shannon burrs are used to cut bone and are available in 4 versions:
Short Shannon reamer: Ø 2 x 8 mm
Long Shannon reamer: Ø 2 x 12 mm
Shannon Isham reamer: Ø 2 x 12 mm
XL Shannon burr: Ø 2 x 22 mm
Wedge burrs are used to cut and shape bone, and are available in 2 versions:
Wedge burr: Ø 3 x 13 mm
Wedge burr: Ø 4 x 13 mm
INDICATIONS
Shannon and Wedge burrs are indicated for percutaneous use in treating forefoot conditions:
