Rodent brain matrices are mainly used for brain slicing in experimental animals. TOW-Int Tech currently provides brain matrices for mice, rats and monkeys, among which mouse brain matrices are also suitable for newborn rats.
Product Features
The brain matrice is made of imported 316 stainless steel, finely carved, and polished through precision mechanical processing.
Provide two specifications: coronal matrice perpendicular to the brain’s midline and sagittal matrice parallel to the brain’s midline.
Two slice thicknesses are available, 1mm and 0.5mm, respectively.
It can be repeatedly cleaned and sterilized under high temperatures and pressure and withstand harsh usage, ensuring durability.
The suitcase has dedicated brain slices to ensure more uniform and accurate localization. It is also easier to store and more professional, making it suitable for flight experiments or storage.
Applications
Biochemical Physiology: Cerebellar regions (such as the distal or nuclear regions) can be removed for biochemical analysis, such as the concentration levels of neurotransmitters and metabolites.
Anatomy: Fine coarse forging of brain tissue before ultra-thin sectioning.
Neurophysiology: Repetitive coarse segmentation before slicing with a vibration slicer.
