An economical anaerobic environment system with air lock, a 16.0 cu.ft. workspace and a 300 plate capacity incubator allow the BACTRON300 to deliver optimum productivity in a compact space. The operator has total command of the work area, yet enjoys ample bench space for efficient performance of all procedures requiring an anaerobic atmosphere.
BACTRON systems have an airtight construction of stainless steel and rigid acrylic glass for unobstructed vision and integrity. The cuffs form a comfortable seal around the operator’s arms permitting bare hand manipulation of plates and specimens inside the working chamber, making work more comfortable and efficient.
When sitting undisturbed at a steady state, a BACTRON typically rests at lower than 4.7 parts per million oxygen in the workspace chamber.
Chamber atmosphere circulates through a condensate controller then through a catalyst, which removes any trace amounts of oxygen. High relative humidity is maintained while condensate moisture is removed without the unnecessary desiccants, which can dehydrate media and samples. Each unit contains an integral vacuum pump to provide rapid evacuation of air from the airlock module for replacement by an inert gas mixture.
