Disposable virus sampling tubes (non-inactivated versions) protect the protein shell and nucleic acid of the virus, providing a solution for virus preservation. It is easy to operate and can be used at any time. The sample tube is an independent disposable package, which is relatively safe.
Alternative name
Non-inactivated Sample Tube, also named Non-inactivated Transport Medium, Non-inactivated virus sampling tube, etc.
Product Description
This non-inactivated viral transport medium (non-Inactivated VTM) is designed for collection, transportation, and temporary storage of specimen total DNA/RNA at room temperature. Typically, samples are taken via nasopharyngeal or oral swab.
Vertical villus arrangement of fibers increases specimen collection and removal into the transport media. The swab features a breakpoint that allows you to safely and easily break off the stick and release the swab into the transport media.
This Non-inactivated Sample Kit(Non-inactivated Transport Medium) is a preservation solution that immediately inactivates the virus in order to avoid secondary infection. A nucleic acid protectant projects the viral nucleic acid from degradation, at room temperature (15-30 degrees Celsius) for up to 72 hours.
Swabs: Disposable swabs consisting of a sampling rod made of ABS material, and a flocked head made of PA66 (polyamide 66 material).
Tubes: non-inactivated sample tubes are made of polypropylene(PP) material.
Viral Transport Medium: VTM is tris-(hydroxymethyl), aminomethane, ethanol, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and sodium dodecyl sulfate.
The virus specimen tube is supplied in a sterile package for one-time use.
