Clinical application
The incubation period of influenza is usually 1 to 7 days, mostly 2 to 4 days.
Flu is usually manifested by chills and high fever, with a body temperature of 39°C to 40°C, and is often accompanied by headaches, muscle and joint aches, extreme fatigue, and loss of appetite.
Pneumonia-type influenza is characterized by persistent high fever, severe cough, hemoptysis or purulent sputum, shortness of breath, cyanosis, and wet rales can be heard in the lungs.
