Oregon Plugger 4 is a double-ended (2.0 mm – 3.0 mm) dental instrument which is used to pack amalgam or other filling materials into cavity preparations. Description A condenser which is also known as a plugger, it is a restorative instrument that’s used to pack amalgam or other filling materials into cavity preparations. Pluggers/condensers are also available in a wide range of combinations with plain or serrated tips and the terminal shanks are angled at 50° to the center line of the instrument. Condensers are very unique, they have large diameter and light weight handle for max comfort, they are used to reduced hand fatigue and increased control.
