The CardioBeeper is a hand-held ECG transmitter device for personal use, capable of transmitting a full ECG reading to the monitoring center in a few seconds, via a standard phone line.
Cardio Beeper® CB- 12/12™ Monitor is a compact, handheld trans-telephonic ECG transmitter device for personal use. It is designed to be used by private persons to transmit their 12-lead ECG in real-time over a standard telephone line, to a physician, hospital or monitoring center, for the purpose of remote real-time diagnosis of arrhythmia, ischemia, and myocardial infarction (MI). The patient easily positions the device on the chest area and performs the ECG by pushing a single button. The CB-12/12™ operates in two modes, male and female, allowing for the same unit to be used by either spouse. The entire CB-12/12™ transmission takes a few seconds and pushes a 12-lead ECG via the telephone line to the medical monitoring center. This real-time monitoring system has proven highly effective in encouraging patients to call for help, and in obtaining consultation, shortly after the onset of symptoms. This can help to drastically reduce morbidity and mortality rates following an acute MI or other severe cardiac incidents.
