This makes the Sigma 3‑30KHS especially suitable for high speed applications in fields such as cellular biology, molecular biology, diagnostics and clinical biology, nanotechnology, research and genetics – especially for specimens whose viscosity must be reduced during centrifugation. This concept allows the high speed centrifuge to achieve RCF values above 70,000 x g with microlitre tubes. The temperature adjustment range of the refrigerated and heated high-speed centrifuge is –20°C to +60°C. A total of 20 rotors are available, along with a broad range of accessories. The tube capacities extend from 0.2 ml to 94 ml in fixed-angle rotors or 0.2 ml to 100 ml in swing-out rotors. Microtiter and deepwell plates can also be centrifuged.
