Its strong performance and range of rotors make the Sigma 1‑16 ideal for microbiological and protein biochemistry applications and clinical chemistry applications. What makes the Sigma 1‑16K refrigerated microcentrifuge so attractive short acceleration and braking times, a high-grade stainless steel bowl, and a motorised lid lock for effortless closing. Further highlights include the ability to store ten standard programs, the biosafe closable rotor with a capacity of 36 x 2 ml, and the rotor for 12 x 5 ml test tubes.
