The Sol-Care® Safety Shield Blood Collection Tube Holder is used in the blood collection procedure. The disposable product is ready to use with Sol-M® Multi-sample needles. The safety guard is an integral part of the holder, and can be adjusted according to the user's preference. It is used in conjunction with multi-sample needle in routine blood sampling procedures. The used needle can be fully covered into the shielding arm after use to avoid needlestick injuries. The safety mechanism is irreversible, once activated. It is an integral part of the device. Its orientation can be adjusted according to the user's preference. Intended use: The Sol-Care® Safety Shield Blood Collection Tube Holder intended to be used with standard muti-sample needle providing safety pivot shield that shall be activated by the end user to cover the needle after use. Intended user: Licensed healthcare professionals (HCP). Cautions: It is the single use device only and shall be disposed of with the used needle immediately after use.
