A particularly comprehensive and portable solution for monitoring the depth of anesthesia
The NARCOguide® Monitor is a medical device that uses electroencephalography (EEG) to determine the depth of anesthesia in adult patients under general anesthesia. This enables anesthetists to optimize the dosage of anesthetics and ensure that patients receive the appropriate level of sedation, minimizing the risk of over- or under-anesthesia.
In the basic version, the NARCOguide provides all the parameters necessary to determine the depth of anesthesia based on EEG.
o NARCOguide® Index (DOA Index) and Burst Suppression Ratio (BSR) are calculated live from the EEG signal and displayed on the HD display.
o Automatic impedance measurement and integrated artifact detection ensure the exclusion of possible interferences such as electrocautery.
o EEG recording is done via a latex-free 3-channel forehead electrode. The NARCOGuide® has an operating time of up to 8 hours. The software supplied with the device enables data transfer for documentation
o Defibrillation protection
