While body transport to and from the morgue refrigerator or storage rack is a common practice in most hospital environments, it can be both time-consuming and strenuous if performed unaided. The SR1842 Manual Cadaver Lifter is designed to make body lifting safer, faster and easier. Various lifting devices can be attached for compatibility with a wide range of morgue storage systems. SR1842 Cadaver Lifters have an 800 pound capacity. Lifting height is from 6 to 88 inches and can be factory set to accommodate the maximum ceiling height of your facility. The lift folds without tools to 14 inches by 32 inches for easy storage. The two section, telescoping mast is constructed of light-weight, heat-treated aluminum. The extruded, interlocking design is rigid, strong and non-corrosive. The body lift beam features a stainless steel bar with end caps and includes a set of adjustable, washable, canvas support straps. Four, rubber-tired, locking, swivel casters provide enhanced maneuverability. Additionally, a built-in automatic safety brake prevents accidental load release.
