The BioMicroLab SampleScan Mini is compatible with a range of 2D microtubes and cryotubes and scans a 96-format rack in 4-5 seconds. Its adjustable output file includes 2D tube barcodes, tube positions, and rack ID data for output to LIMS or other systems, and researchers benefit from the ability to scan single tubes as well as full racks. Efficiently captures Rack ID 2D embedded barcodes on the base of racks are automatically captured, and with an optional 1D linear barcode reader that attaches to any side of the instrument, the 1D rack ID is scanned and decoded. Compact footprint without compromising capabilities The compact footprint makes the device suitable even for crowded environments, and enables efficient laboratory layout. Scan single tubes or full racks Scan a rack or simply hover a single tube over the scanner to decode a single tube. For single tubes, the single tube scan feature sends the decoded barcode directly to any open application, while user-friendly software is used for full rack scanning.
