In toilets, bathrooms and showers the patient calling device is normally a Toilet Pull Cord Unit with Reassurance and Reset. Upon activation of the pull cord, the integrated reassurance LED illuminâtes to reassure the patient and to assist staff in identifying the origin of the call. The call is reset at this point. Raising a toilet call activâtes an audible tone on the nurse call system and orange over door lights illuminate to guide staff.
