The QCG – QCGV emergency shut-off panels are conceived and realized according with MDD 93/42/EEC (2007/47/EEC), to related norm UNI EN 7396 -1 and to the Italian Ministerial Decree dated 18/09/02 concerning the fi re prevention in private and public healthcare group.
Their function is to allow, by means of the built-in valves, the exclusion or the passage of the medical gases in a determined compartment and to supply the latter, this is possible thanks to an emergency point ( AFNOR, UNI 9507, NIST EN 5359* ) placed downstream the valves. Various QCG panels solutions are available according with the number of shut-off gas groups, the presence of the vacuum shut-off valve, the presence of the pressure switch, the recessed or external mounting box options.
All models also integrating the vacuum shut-off groups are identifi ed with the code QGCV. According to the panel board codes, the vacuum shut-off group is realized with ¾ valves (V22) or with 1” (V28) or with 1” ¼ “ (V35)
QCG – QCGV models compartment emergency panels are constituted by :
A) White lacquered steel surface mounting box having :
from 1 to 5 medical gas shut-off groups each one composed of :
-1 ½” ball valve complete with Namur sensor ( with output signal open or closed )
-1 removable connector suitable to mount a gauge * having:
1 emergency gas specific supplying point with head complying with AFNOR , UNI or
NIST EN 5359*
-1 vacuum shut-off group constituted by one ball valve and a block for vacuum switch* or gauge*
B) Steel lockable door with plexiglass for the valves control mounted on a frangible panel for the emergency access
