Description

This double-ended instrument was designed to place a minimal amount of vertical stress when separating the stromal lamellae after creating a femtosecond bubble layer in LASIK surgery. The spatula end of the instrument features a thin spatula design to minimize the risk of catching the edge of the corneal flap. In addition, the smooth, shallow curved spatula is designed for a smooth lamellar dissection. The opposite end of the instrument features a smooth, blunt tip that is thinner than similar instruments and designed to reduce the potential for impact to stromal layer. Overall length 132mm, 5.2 inches.
