The Surfacide Helios System is the only patented, UV-C hard surface low-level disinfection solution to use multiple light-emitting robots in a single cycle, resulting in greater efficiency. Three Robots Increase UV-C Coverage. Multiple light-emitting robots simultaneously deliver UV-C energy to nearby surfaces, achieving low-level disinfection. UV-C is a direct line-of-sight technology. Bacteria and virus can be present in shadowed areas and will not be killed if they are not directly exposed to UV-C energy. Surfacide provides UV-C energy to achieve low-level disinfection of nearby exposed surfaces. The closer the UV-C robot is to the target surface, the more energy it can deliver in less time. Through the use of multiple robots, Surfacide Helios is positioned closer to surfaces resulting in an efficient disinfection cycle. After manual cleaning, Surfacide’s automated Helios System does not require any robot repositioning, which results in shorter cycle times and increased staff productivity. With our Laser Mapping feature, Helios uses technology to automatically adjust cycle length to assure an appropriate dose for low-level disinfection. Helios includes three UV-C robots at a similar price point of most single emitter systems. For added flexibility, our robots can be utilized for a variety of room sizes to achieve low-level disinfection.
