SURGINIBS is an injectable bone substitute made of synthetic hydroxyapatite nanoparticles in water that imitates the nanostructure of inorganic human bone, strengthening osteoconductivity and integration.
Surginibs is fully resorbable and its nanocrystalline structure promotes new bone formation.
The nanometric similarity between Surginibs and the inorganic components of natural bone provide it with enhanced osteoconductivity, acting as a temporary scaffolding for internal growth of viable bone.
Specifications:
Ease of use: it is supplied in ready-to-use prefilled syringes.
Composition: Hydroxyapatite (Ca10 (PO4) 6 (OH) 2) and Water (H2O).
Nanoparticle diameter: 100 nm
Nanocrystallite size: 10 μm
Specific surface area: 80m²/g.
Biocompatible.
Radiopaque.
Reduces intervention time.
Optimal filling of defects due to the paste consistency.
Uses:
Surginibs is indicated for use in filling bone voids or voids in the skeletal system (limbs, pelvis and spine) that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bone structure, and in intraoral bone defects.
These bone defects may be due to surgery or may be bone defects that have appeared due to traumatic damage to the bone.
