The flat, decreasing, wedge-shaped form provides excellent anti-rotational stability and adequate elasticity to facilitate implant insertion in a neutral position, preventing varus/valgus positioning. The longitudinal groove increases the anti-rotational stability of the stem since it is filled with either bone cement in cemented stems or by trabecular bone in the cementless stems.
Specifications
Progressive off-set.
12/14 taper.
Support area on the base of the neck over the osteotomy to prevent the prosthesis from sinking.
The contour seeks to achieve good primary metaphyseal stability with press-fit and distal mechanical stability in the smooth area, thereby achieving a very stable biological fixation.
Available in cemented and cementless versions.
Made from Titanium Alloy (Ti6Al4V).
Hydroxyapatite spray coating (130 µm) that provides a porous surface with excellent biocompatibility and generates an ideal structure for bone growth.
Titanium plasma spray coating (150 µm) that provides a porous surface with excellent biocompatibility and generates an ideal structure for bone growth.
